So... although I'm signed up for EA Access (for one year), I'm thinking this 10% discount vs. purchasing an actual hard copy of the game isn't worth it... and here's why: 1. Madden is an annual game, granted the resale value of the game drops significantly just before the release of the new title (Madden 16 in this case) but surely I can get that 10% back at that point right? 10% of $60/$70... $6-$7? 2. To top it off...Madden 15 will inevitably become a free game in the vault sometime next year (like Madden 25 is right now) so even after I resell the game, I'll still have a digital copy of Madden 15 (which I'll never play again as soon as Madden 16 drops). You guys have ( M3 Commish, Stodds13, ChaseT66, Corbone56, TheGiant99, Al WH1TE) EA Access... What are your thoughts?

I actually agree with all those views. For me, I just like the digital DL because I'm not going through the steps of taking the game back and furthermore, not wanting to deal with the hard copy issues - ie, scratches, errors and whatever else pops up. The 30 I spent for the annual subscription does suck especially after knowing what we know now with the access .. But being able to play early even for 6 hours is still ok. I think what I would do next time is do the 4.99 a month and cancel the following Tuesday after I purchase the retail version. [HASH]YouLiveAndLearnIGuess

[HASH]YouLiveAndLearnIGuess For me, selling FIFA 14 back in July for $36-ish on amazon.com (prior to the launch of EA Access) made it worthwhile. Not only did I pay for my 1 year subscription, I also now have FIFA 14 as well (I woulda sold Madden 25 back as well, but I swapped it w/ a buddy for Wolfenstein. In any case, selling back via amazon is pretty easy, all it takes is printing off a label, packaging it & dropping it off @ a UPS store on my way home from work, everything else is done online. I'll try it out this time and reevaluate I guess & you're right, I'll experiment this way & we'll see how it works out. (Truth is I've never bought a digital copy of a game, I'm just old school...I want that disc )

Add this to the little perk to the list of reasons to go digital.

Add this to the little perk to the list of reasons to go digital. lol... exactly. Especially because I didn't have to re-download anything after the 5 day trial
