The roster update for Madden NFL 13 as the season heads into Wild Card Weekend has already gone live on the Xbox 360 and PS3. This update incorporates two weeks worth of performances as EA did not provide one – the only week of the regular season they didn’t – over the Christmas holiday break. For the non-playoff teams players that were on the IR have been returned to active status and depth charts adjusted. Additional ratings changes will be made through the playoffs and following the Super Bowl for all teams not just those still in action. Peyton Manning inches up to within 1 point of recapturing the 99 rating he last had in December 2010 in Madden NFL 11. Dez Bryant goes up 2 to 91, Mike Tolbert gains 2 to 91, Alfred Morris continues to climb as he earns 2 more to 87, Doug Martin gets another point to end at 88, and Zach Brown collects 3 more to rise to 80. Tony Romo drops 2 to 88, Nnamdi Asomugha loses another point to end the season at 87, and David Akers crashes 4 points to 81. Leading the teams benefiting the most from the update in terms of net players gaining vs losing are the Buccaneers (+8) followed by the Redskins (+5). Those taking the biggest hit are the Eagles (-4) and Cowboys (-3). It was a light week for ratings changes overall. Full Player Ratings
