Sounds good in theory .. but, this falls right into the category of playing outside the defaulted settings for vs online ... we put it on slow ... then revert back to playing vs (which a lot of guys will be playing), I'm not so sure this will be as welcomed as one would think. Is the game a little faster? Sure...does it run the speed of a 2K feel? Sure .. but, just like the year Madden decided to slow the game down a few versions back .. we all said how slow it became .. but, we got use to it .. so, rushing to change the speed -- but more importantly, asking guys to switch back and forth on speed alone ... eh, for me .. I'll pass .. but, others may have a different view. Still going to plus one the post and find.

If people are playing online ranked, they'll be stuck playing whatever the default speed is... but in terms of scrimming for the league, you'd be playing a custom player match, in which you could make the default player speed slow...
so it's more viable than you think...

The game didn't feel any different to me on Slow... I don't want to have to play 4 different type of ways... Slow does nothing but make people move slower...

normal makes them move faster, and faster than they SHOULD... slow moves more like real life, and also makes the infinity engine physics animations play out in a less herky jerky twitchy manner... everything just looks more smooth and fluid and looks less hyperspeed arcadey...
like i said... we can set the connected career to be on slow, and whenever people scrim eachother, they can play on slow as well... it would only negatively effect those who worry about playing online RANKED matches... which i'm sure will be locked at the default speed of "Normal"
my hope is that EA sees that most seem to enjoy the "Slow" speed setting and ends up making that the default... but that's a long shot.

that's because you're both slow already...

Wait, you're saying the animations themselves are slower on slow?

yes... the whole game moves slower, and at a more realistic speed... on normal everything moves too fast... faster than real life...
