New Video Overview of Connected Careers Mode in Madden NFL 13 EA Sports has released a new video with Connected Careers designer Josh Looman going over the single mode in Madden NFL 13 that incorporates what used to be separate (Franchise and Superstar) and delivers some new twists and exceptional depth. Given the difficulty the company has had in communicating what Connected Careers entails it’s important for them to continue to talk about it and provide different avenues for consumers to attempt and grasp it. There isn’t much new information to be gleaned from the video but again it acts as an important overview of the mode and the first opportunity for most to see the layout.

I still don't understand... is coach mode where you sit back and just call plays or is that the traditional online franchise mode that we're used to playing in the OFL?

coach mode is how we usually play madden...
still bummed that i'm pretty sure we won't be able to scrim within the league... the only possible bright spot is that creating teams SHOULD be overhauled, as the "touch every pixel" slogan EA has been throwing around with this year's madden would insinuate that they more than likely made create-a-team a little more user friendly... that shit has been brutal the past few years...

If coach mode is how we usually play madden, what's the benefit of choosing like a "schemist" or "motivator" persona when creating your coach, since it all boils down to your skills on the sticks and how you play the actual game anyway?

I'm assuming it would have some sort of impact on player performance... like madden 12 dpp, but a little different... they haven't gone on to explain what that was all about... i did notice that though.
