As mentioned on Twitter today by the art director for Madden 11 the game will be receiving a fourth patch with a targeted release in November. Art related updates will include the Vikings receiving jerseys with their 50th anniversary patch, a Saints jersey with a Super Bowl patch, and the Redskins home and away uniform combos. Last year the final gameplay patch for Madden arrived in early December. No word yet on anything else that could be touched upon in the patch but it surely won’t be limited to jersey additions. The most recent patch which arrived late last month cleaned up some of the issues Madden 11 released with, though most impressions noted only marginal improvements.

I have an idea for a GREAT PATCH for EA. Sell your dumb fucking game to 2K and let them handle all football related video games. EA OBVIOUSLY can not get the shit right. It's pretty sad when the original 2k game has better game play than the EA version a decade later.
