Online Franchise will finally be receiving a roster update in Madden 10 next week. This has been confirmed and will be the first update for the mode since way back in October. The updated roster will be utilized when any new online franchise is created.
It will be interesting to see if this update will be identical to the final Madden 10 roster update that was released last weekend. That one of course sparked some controversy when a few players that had announced their retirement, most notably Kurt Warner, were completely removed.
If the same roster update is used that would mean any new online franchise would be started up without Kurt Warner on the Cardinals or available to choose from in a fantasy draft.
__________
Won't really matter anyway, at least here, as we're putting old betsy to rest.

I'm embarassed that good old Matt Leinart couldn't take you to the promise land. Hopefully, he learned enough to help himself get over the hump of playing at the pro level next year .. but unfortunately, I think we're looking at another Joey Harrington to be honest.
